Overview

Mixing is where a song's ideas are clarified, balanced, and shaped into a coherent whole. My focus is always on supporting the music itself — its structure, emotion, and intent.

Before touching sound, I spend time understanding what the track is trying to communicate. Where does it need energy? Where does it need space? What elements should feel forward, and which ones should stay supportive?

Approach

I like working with contrast — impact alongside detail, intimacy against width, clean elements next to rougher textures. These relationships help give the mix depth without overwhelming the listener.

A mix can add a musical layer to a production. That means knowing when to enhance a sound and when to step back. My approach is guided by arrangement and composition — I usually try to solve musical problems before technical ones, making choices that serve the song rather than imposing a fixed sonic signature.
